~ Brother Emil contacted Jeremy here at Wetpaint in the hopes of gleaning a bit more information which might help us all navigate around this site. The following is the text of their communcation. Diana ~Subject: Notifying Members of new postsJeremy, Is there any way of notifying our membership of new posts on our various pages to keep them up to date? This is kind of anachronistic. Every other group I belong to send e-mails when someone posts to a group i am subscribed to.
i have quite a few pages and various members have pages that we update a number of times a day but other members don't know.
This is NOT a good feature for either one of us. if you go to my site you will see on our titles updates 6/22 etc. My problem is, i usually have to do everyone's page.
My members have invited others but all I hear is how un-userfriendly wetpaint is.
For one instance, in discussions, why is, "Start a Discussion" all the way up in the right hand corner like that?
I have people asking me, "How do I start a discussion?", because they don't look all the way UP there.
Bad layout, my friend. Others don't contribute because they don't know how. i have to walk people through starting and posting on their own page ON the phone and then, they forget something, so they add it at the bottom and I end up having to post it in the page. Right now i should be teaching. and not having to write this note to you.
My People need help, I like it here, but we need "user friendly". www.godcountryusa.com
