7-19bThis is really beautiful. Noah's Ark
Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark. ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Please pass this on to people you want to be blessed.
Most people walk in and out of your life.......but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart. 7-19aThink you will enjoy this. Go to the link below and watch this as Tennessee Ernie Ford sings with his son Brian sitting by him. Watch it all the way to the end, it’s great! For those of you who remember this great voice (and for those who don't, but would like to hear it) I submit to20you Mr. Tennessee Ernie Ford, and his son Brian, performing on Television back in the 50's. Brian really gets with it, and almost breaks up his Dad. This is priceless....

THE MIGHTY POWER OF PRAYER.
I went to a funeral today, I had known this since Sunday evening, it was one I did not want to attend, it was my first Cousin, she was 59. I had grown up with Kathy and her sisters. They visited almost every weekend. Her Mother was my Dad's sister. When I went to Tulsa I would see all of them. They were like my real sisters. I went with four of my other cousins from down here. We were all dreading going. You see Kathy was not a Christian. She used to be and I don't know what happened. We got married and grew apart. No. We got busy with our own lives. I kept in touch with her sister, Nelda by instant message, and she told me they were praying for Kathy, and I promised to keep her in my prayers. I did. I didn't know what I was praying for but I said God you know what Kathy needs, please help her.
Her son spoke at the Funeral and this is his story. I am not good at telling them, but I hope anyone reading this will bear with me, it is well worth the read.
I was not going to tell this story tonight, as some know already. I didn't sleep at all, and I was up at 2 then again at four. I stayed up then because I had to get up at five to get ready and pick up my cousins so we could be there by 10 this morning. My head is killing me but God wants me to tell this now for some reason, so here I am.
Kathy's son got up, and he stood there for awhile, and he said I didn't know what I was going to say up here but I have decided to tell you something that most of you don't know yet, and I want you to know it because I don't want you to be sad. He said I am a preacher, and for many years I have tried to talk to Mom because I knew she needed God in her life. He said many times I talked to her and she would tell me to go home. He said one day I said well maybe if she won't listen to me, she might read a letter so he said I wrote her a letter and I told her how much I loved her, and I thanked her for everything she had done for me, and he said now Mom don't get mad but the rest of this is about God and I can see you getting mad now. She didn't get mad but she didn't change either.
About a year ago Mom had a major heart attack, and she had surgery, she almost died, still she would not listen to him, she got over it, and a few months later she had a major stroke. This time she was not able to speak, she could not move, and her blood pressure dropped to 35, they told us she would not make it, she was going very soon. He said I talked to God and told him, God you are a just God, and I know you have given Mom ever chance, but if you could find it in your heart to give her one more chance, I will give you the praise, we all will. He said we were all gathered in the hall waiting for the worst, and the nurse said come in here you have to see this, He said we watched the monitor as Mom's blood pressure went a little higher and then a little higher. He said it reached normal as we stood and watched, and Mom sat up, and she said if I get out of this, I will go to Church. she got out of it, but it took many months for her to walk and talk right, but last Sunday, Mom came to church, and she gave her heart and life to God, and she received the Holy Spirit, He said she praised God all over that church, and I praised God for saving my Mom.
He said Mom left the church to go home, and hugged her and told her I loved her, He said as I was talking to someone, a person ran in and said something is wrong with your Mom. He said I ran to her car, but she was gone. Kathy was given one more chance and she took it, Praise God she took it, and as she left that church, God took her home. Now I want to say here, that if God is speaking to someone, Please listen, for in the blink of an eye, it can all be over. I praise God for I know Kathy is in Heaven tonight, and thank you God for giving her that one last chance. Kathy, if you can hear me, I love you girl. Way to go!!
